Gardening and landscaping in Tehachapi is not an easy task. The native soil in some areas is less than desirable, rodents love to nibble on tender fresh roots and the deer and elk are known to remove a branch or two from trees. While all of that may seem daunting there is still plenty of opportunity for success. In fact, its those things that make us all value where we live and appreciate it even more when we get our gardens and landscapes to thrive.

Take a walk and see what the neighbors have. Then talk to Tim at Old Town Nursery and pray alot. For us we hit and miss for awhile trying different things, some work some don’t. Gotta find the right weed and let it go. We’re on the corner of Elm and Cherry Ln and experiment alot. Feel free to drive by and look.
